Co-op Local Community Fund
Shopping at your local Co-op can help provide much needed funding for refurbishment of our disabled toilet.
The Co-op Local Community Fund supports St John’ Church Hall project to remodel and refurbish the disabled toilet
Every time a member of the Co-op buys Co-op branded products and services from buying a loaf of bread to planning a funeral, 1% of their spend goes to a local good cause like ours, and 5% returns to the members own Co-op account.
Until 7th October our project is part of the fund the money builds up and the participating stores are in Broughton, Hibaldstow, and Kirton Lindsey (11A Station Road only).
So to take part and get started you need to become a Co-op Member by signing up on their website (www.coop.co.uk/membership). Membership costs £1 only. Then secondly you choose a local charity to support – in our case it is St John’s Church Hall, Brigg.
Co-op have given us a flying start by allocating our project £736 as our share of the charge made in store for the plastic shopping bags.
